It was like a wave which took most people interested in this combat art of hand and feet.

Bruce Lee, was a multi talented icon. He was a Martial Artist, an actor, a philosopher, instructor and founder of a revolutionary Martial Art called Jeet Kune Do, which originated in 1965. It was after a fight in competition that Bruce Lee felt that the traditional Wing Chun technique were too rigid. He decided to develop a system with an emphasis on "practicality, flexibility, speed, and efficiency". He started to use different methods of training such as weight training for strength, running for endurance, stretching for flexibility, and many others which he constantly adapted.

Jeet Kune Do was not only the fighting style, Bruce Lee considered but a philosophy, Bruce Lee emphasized, "the style of no styles".
